How long do Xtreme Lashes(TM) last?

When applied properly, semi-permanent Xtreme Lashes can last up to 2 months, depending on the natural growth cycle of your client's eyelashes and the expertise of the technician applying the eyelash extensions. Most clients will want touch-ups every two to four weeks. Xtreme Lashes HP-3 High Performance Bonding Agent is specially formulated with a unique waterproof bonding agent to last longer than most other adhesives. You will find that the right bonding agent is of critical importance . How many individuals does each Xtreme Lashes Gold kit serve?

What's the difference between the Bronze Eyelash Extension Kit, Gold Eyelash Extension Kit and Platinum Eyelash Extension Kit?

The Bronze Eyelash Extension Kit is designed to provide an individual with everything needed to get started in the eyelash extension business and is our standard basic kit; The Gold Eyelash Extension Kit has double the components of the Bronze Kit, including some added extras eg: longer life coating agent and mascara; the Platinum Eyelash Extension Kit is designed for either a salon with multiple professionals or an Eyelash Extension Professional who has a high volume of business and demands the most value for the price range. The Platinum Kit contains enough lashes to serve twice as many clients as does the Gold Kit . The Platinum Kit also contains some bonus eyelash trays that can reduce the required time to complete an eyelash application.

How can I learn to apply Xtreme Lashes(TM)?

Xtreme Lashes(TM) offers unsurpassed Hands-on Training and Certification Workshop . We require the purchase of our workshop in order to qualify to buy one of our kits. The Workshop is extremely important to teach you basic and advanced techniques to help ensure that your applications are safe, efficient and beautiful.  Each kit comes with a step by step instruction booklet - but these tools are no substitute for the hands-on Workshop. 

Why do you provide multiple lengths and colors?

With proper training, having a variety of sizes and colors enables you to provide your clients with options. Three to four lengths are required to achieve a natural looking set of lashes, which most clients prefer. However, some clients want a more dramatic look which can be achieved using various lengths and colors applied using advanced techniques, such as highlighting, that we teach at the Xtreme Lashes(TM) Training and Certification Workshop. Ultimately, each client is unique. With proper training, you will be able to give your clients the eyelash set they have been dreaming about.

How long does the procedure take?

Depending on the expertise and experience of the professional applying Xtreme Lashes, it generally takes between 2 - 3 hours to apply one set of Xtreme Lashes. Touch ups will depend on how many lashes need to be replaced.

What is the Coating Agent used for?

Our specially formulated Longer Life Coating may be applied to the eyelashes to ensure a water resistant seal around the eyelashes so the eyelash extensions last longer. You should wait 24 hours after the procedure to apply the Longer Life Coating in order for the bonding agent to fully cure. The Xtreme Lashes(TM) HP-3 High Performance bonding agent is the best in the industry and, with the added coating agent, the eyelashes can better withstand the effects of time and wear and tear. You can also sell this coating agent to the consumer for self application to enhance the life of the eyelash extensions.

Can you describe the application process?

You will recline your client comfortably on a massage table or spa chair with her eyes closed while you apply Xtreme Lashes(TM) individual eyelash extensions to individual client lashes one lash at a time. Clients often fall asleep during this relaxing procedure. Depending on your experience, it generally takes between 2 - 3 hours to apply one full set of Xtreme Lashes(TM). Touch ups will depend on how many lashes need to be replaced.

How much can I charge for my services?

Depending on your location and the number of eyelash extensions needed, professionals are currently charging from R600 for an initial full set application. Touch ups, usually required every 2 to 4 weeks to replenish eyelashes that have completed their life cycle and fallen off, range from R200 depending on the number of lashes required. Some salons and spas offer a package which will include initial application and touch ups for one set price.

Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?

Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The primary ingredient in our HP-3 glue is the same ingredient used by plastic surgeons in the U.S. for suture-less wound closure. The application process is pain-free and relaxing. In fact, many clients fall asleep during the procedure. However, improper application by an unqualified technician can cause damage to the eyes and eyelids.  This is one of the reasons that we require the purchase of the Xtreme Lashes(TM) Training and Certification Workshop in order to purchase our kits.
